New Ship...

I've been watching lots of old X-Files episodes lately. Everything was good...until I got to season 8/9 - or basically the era of John Doggett. When I watched his seasons before, nothing too crazy happened - I was impatiently waiting, much like Scully, for Mulder's return and their much anticipated, smutty plotbunny-inducing reunion. But something happened to me this time around - something I was kinda shocked (and strangely embarrassed) to discover...


Mulder being absent wasn't bothering me so much.

Scully interacting with someone *other* than Mulder was oddly appealing all of a sudden.

As for John Doggett...well, let's just say that my previous indifference towards him slowly melted into a warm puddle of quiet adoration.

All of these new thoughts and opinions came together at some point and did the unthinkable: it turned me into a fledgling Doggett/Scully shipper. (I KNOW! The horror!!)

I have yet to write a piece to celebrate this latest, decidedly unusual couple (though I desperately want to!), but until I do, I've been sating my D/S appetite over at Semper Fi.
